Stepwise Software Guide

Refer to the step by step guide to understand the software working and functionality.

  1. Launch and run the software by going to Start button> All programs> Intrigua Recover EDB > Start the tool. On Startup Screen, Click Open button to select file.

  2. Click on Browse button to choose the desired offline EDB file from your machine.

  3. Choose the Priv or database .edb file to Load the folder and then Click on Open button.

  4. Choose the appropriate option from EDB Storage type box where the resultant file will be stores as priv or pub EDB files. Also enable Deep Scan option if you Exchange EDB files are highly damaged.

  5. The status of scanning and recovery is indicated by status bar. Wait until the scan is complete (which may depend on the file size) or if you selected deep scan option

  6. A confirmation dialog box will appear that shows the recovery of EDB file is complete. Click OK and proceed further.

  7. The complete folder structure of EDB files will appears in the software window, from here you can view, analyzed and expand all recovered mailbox.
    »Select specific folder to view its items
    »Select mailbox and click on Save button (By default all items are selected but you can choose selectively).

  8. Browse the location to save the output file and Click OK button. You can also create a new folder location.

  9. Finally the recovery procedure will begin, here you can view item count of repair items. You can choose “Skip this Mailbox” option if you find that some mailbox are large in size and are time consuming.

  10. A confirmation dialog box message pops up indicating the saved location of exported PST file. Then click OK button.

  11. To view exported PST file navigate to the saved location. Now you can use this PST file with Exchange server and MS outlook.
